Evening Hikes in Vancouver
The month of June in Vancouver generally offers longer days and warmer evenings, making for the perfect time to squeeze in a scenic hike after work.
Before setting out on an evening hike, make sure to tell someone where you are going and when you’ll be back, pack a headlamp, and the essentials, just in case. Also check whether there is a closing time at the gate when you enter a park as most gates are locked at a specific time around sunset.
Here are some great evening hiking options.

Known as Vancouver’s Stairmaster, the steep and gruelling Grouse Grind trail to the top of Grouse is a challenge. The good thing is it ends at the chalet where you can grab a drink before heading back down on the tram. Make sure to purchase a ticket to take the gondola back down.
