BC Boat & Sportsmen, BC Hunting Show

The Annual BC Boat and Sportsmen's Show features retailers specializing in fishing, boats, camping gear and outdoor products, lodges and resorts, and atv's. Your admission also gains you entry into the BC Hunting Show featuring hunting equipment and gear.

The Dirty Duo

This is a unique event that combines mountain biking and trail running. Choose to only run, only bike, do a relay, or do both! There are many categories of this race, so you can choose the one that suits you best, whether a beginner or an extreme athlete.

West Van Run

This is an annual 5/10K Walk/Run taking place in Dundarave Park that promotes running on the North Shore and supports local organizations Special Olympics BC and Sole Girls. The course covers Belleve Avenue, Marine Drive, Ambleside Park, and the West Vancouver seawall. Complete the West Van Run Double by running the 5K on Saturday and 10K on Sunday and get a West Van Run bottle!

Try Events Vancouver Hot Chocolate Run

The Hot Chocolate Run supports BC's Centre for Ability, and is a 5 or 10k route that takes place in Stanley Park, along the seawall or around the Dovian Park loop. The race includes a souvenir finishing medal, souvenir event mug, after event snacks, and more.

UBC Run for Rural Medicine

This is an annual walk/run event organised by the students of UBC's Faculty of Medicine, with proceeds going to charity Hope Air. The 5/10K run/walk is chip-timed and takes place at Jericho Beach Park.

BMO St. Patrick's Day 5k Race

An appropriately Irish themed race, the course is a scenic loop through Stanley Park. This event also has an after party with food, green beer, and a DJ. Sign up online, with a discount per person for team entries, and cash prizes. Proceeds from the race go to Diabetes Canada and helps send kids with diabetes to camp.

Cap Crusher

An 12 or 24K trail race or kids' race that goes around the upper Capilano Canyon. Featuring beautiful views of the river and the mountains that is billed as a quad crusher and takes place mostly on the west side of the Cleveland Dam.

Try Events Shamrock'n Race

Get into the St Patrick's Day spirit and dress up for this themed race and circle Burnaby Lake on a 21.1k or 7 mile course. The race supports the Canucks Autism Network and includes medals and draw prizes.

Up the Creek 5/10K

This event includes a 5K, 10K, and 1k junior portion, and takes place on a 99% soft surface. The trail goes along Hyde Creek and follows the dyke and Pitt River. Medals are awarded for placers for each category, with a participation ribbon for all kids participants.

BMO Sunshine Coast April Fool's Run Half-Marathon

This race runs from Gibsons to Sechelt, is a net downhill course and goes through a scenic route on BC's Sunshine Coast. Proceeds go to the Sunshine Coast Food Bank. Finishers will receive medals and hot soup, all in a beautiful rural setting.

The Big Easter Run

This is the 5th annual Big Easter Run, a community fun run with a 1-3K Kids run with egg hunt at 1pm and a 5&10K route at 2pm. The route goes along the trails and alongside the beach and is suitable for all ages and abilities and is pet and stroller friendly. Sign up online.

Diez Vista 50K

The Annual Diez Vista Run is a 50K or 100K trail run that features West Coast rainforest trails and gravel service roads, with over 6000 ft elevation change. This race features a $500 course record bonus, so get your running shoes ready if you think you can beat it!

5 Peak Alice Lake Race

This 5 Peaks race features a Sports course (8.5K) and an Enduro course (13K), as well as a Children's Challenge (1K) and a timed Kids race (3K). This race starts out on the Four Lakes Trail, where you will pass by Stump, Fawn, Edith lakes, and finish on Alice Lake. The trail starts easy but features a steep ascent in the 2nd half of the run, as well as one of the premiere descent in Squamish, Credit Line. The race finishes on the beaches of Alice Lake, overlooking the highest peak of Garibaldi Park. This is a cup free event so please bring your own reusable containers.

Vancouver Sun Run

Canada's largest 10K road race, the Vancouver Sun Run begins in Vancouver's downtown core and runs through Stanley Park, then goes past English Bay onto the city streets, over the Cambie Bridge, and back towards BC Place. Because of the large number of participants, there are wave starts for the race. Awards are given to the top three males and females in each category. Registration deadlines vary by category.

Furry Tails Foot Race

This 5 or 10K fun run is a fundraiser to raise money to help Langley's stray and lost dog and cats. Money raised goes to the Langley Animal Protection Society, and treats will be provided after the race. Register online and become a fundraiser.

BMO Vancouver Marathon Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo

The expo, running during the Vancouver Marathon weekend, will be the hub for runners where they can pick up their marathon gear such as bibs, timings chips, etc before the race. Exhibitors will also be showcasing products and services, and admission is free to the public.

BMO Vancouver Marathon

The BMO Vancouver Marathon is one of the top destination marathons in the world, and runs through Vancouver's downtown and past some of the city's most iconic landmarks. Join the full marathon, half marathon, 8K run, or enter your kids in the 1mile kids fun run. The marathon raises funds for RUN4HOPE, the marathon's official charity program, and go towards social impact and community good, and benefiting various national and community charities.

5 Peaks Golden Ears Race

The 2nd race of the year in the 5 Peaks Running Series, The Sports course is 8.5K while the Enduro course is 13K. There are also Childrens Challenge (1K) and Kids (3K) races. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each category as well as top 3 male and female finishers overall. This is a cup free event so please bring your reusable containers.

The Run for Women lets you choose between a 10k, 5k and 1k little girls run. Brought to you by Shoppers Drug Mart's LOVE YOU program, funds raised go towards BC Women's hospital's perinatal substance abuse programs.

BlueShore Mother's Day Run

The BlueShore Financial Mother's Day Run and Walk consists of a 3k, 5k and 10k Run and Walk in beautiful Stanley Park. Free fitness clinics and a Mother's Day expo are just some of the events happening over this weekend. Make a Wish BC and Yukon is the official charity of the run.

Iron Knee Tender Knee Trail Race

Starting in Cleveland Park, this race finishes on the beautiful shores of Deep Cove. The race includes some great trails leading up to the challenging Powerline Climb.

BCCH Race for the Kids

At RBC Race for the Kids, runners and walkers of all ages and abilities will participate in either a scenic 5k route or a 2k fun run, followed by a carnival celebration with healthy snacks and activities for the whole family.

BC Children's Hospital Foundation's signature running event has raised over $14 million since it began in 1986. Funds raised through the 2019 event will support childhood cancer programs and research as well as mental health initiatives.

We're calling on everyone to join the fun - whether on your own or on a team with your family, colleagues or classmates. Together, we can reach this year's goal of $1 million to help kids across the province.

Whistler Half Marathon

Described as 'Canada's most scenic half marathon', this course winds around Whistler Valley and goes along a number of neighbourhoods and parks along the way. Participants can sign up for the 21.1K marathon 10K, 5K or the 1K kids run. Proceeds go to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada.

Blueshore Financial The Longest Day 10K & 5K

Come for the Run - Stay for the Party! Come join us for a Friday evening 5K/10K and Subway Kid's Mile around UBC Campus followed by a post run party featuring a Band, BBQ, Beer garden, Draw prizes and Kid's Play area.

Proceeds go to support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and elementary age track and field programs.

Tenderfoot Boogie Squamish to Whistler

This is an epic race that includes 3 distances, the 50 mile ultra, 50K or 28K. The race starts at sea level and finishes at 2400 ft, with amazing views of the surrounding rivers and canyons. Finish line is at Meadow Park.

Tynehead 5, 8 and 12 Hour

This race takes a scenic route in a 4K loop around Tynehead Park, and this race features a 5, 8, and 12 hour option. Participants will receive a finishers prize.

Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run

The knee knacker is aptly named, as the course is 30 miles and has an elevation gain of 16,000 feet. Definitely not one for the faint of heart. Donations will be collected by runners and teams to the North Shore Search and Rescue.

Squamish Days 8K

The Squamish Days 8K is the 10th race in the Lifestages Lower Mainland Road Race Series and is a fast, flat route on a paved shoulder that has minimal traffic and is friendly for wheelchair participants. Medals are awarded to the top 3 finishers, and there is also a stroller division available. No walkers, all racers must finish within 80 minutes.

Fat Dog 120 Trail Race

Fat Dog is an ultra race that has been listed as one of the top 9 toughest ultras by Outside Online. There are 3 different start points and routes, with the toughest (the 48 hour 120 mile) having an elevation gain just under that of Everest. Definitely not for beginners, the routes feature stunning views through 3 provincial parks.
