Try Events Vancouver Chilly Chase

The first race of the year for Try Events, routes are 5, 10, or 15K for walkers or runners around the Seawall. The course is quick and flat and you will be treated to gorgeous winter views of Vancouver, with the race supporting local Charity Give Partner, Lookout Society..

Pacific Road Runners First Half

This annual run is on a very scene 21.1km route that winds around the seawall to English Bay, through Stanley Park and back. The race is the first in the RUNVAN Grand Slam race series and there is a 3 hour finishing time limit.

Fort Langley Historic Half, 10K & 5K

Designed to be one of the most scenic half marathons in the country, the route begins and ends at the Fort Langley National Historic Site. The route is challenging but you will be rewarded with majestic views. The 5K course runs through quiet streets in Fort Langley and is a relatively flat loop.

This is a unique event that combines mountain biking and trail running. Choose to only run, only bike, do a relay, or do both! There are many categories of this race, so you can choose the one that suits you best, whether a beginner or an extreme athlete.

Iron Knee Tender Knee Trail Race

Starting in Cleveland Park, this race finishes on the beautiful shores of Deep Cove. The race includes some great trails leading up to the challenging Powerline Climb.

Whistler Half Marathon

Described as 'Canada's most scenic half marathon', this course winds around Whistler Valley and goes along a number of neighbourhoods and parks along the way. Participants can sign up for the 21.1K marathon 10K, 5K or the 1K kids run. Proceeds go to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada.

Tenderfoot Boogie Squamish to Whistler

This is an epic race that includes 3 distances, the 50 mile ultra, 50K or 28K. The race starts at sea level and finishes at 2400 ft, with amazing views of the surrounding rivers and canyons. Finish line is at Meadow Park.

Tynehead 5, 8 and 12 Hour

This race takes a scenic route in a 4K loop around Tynehead Park, and this race features a 5, 8, and 12 hour option. Participants will receive a finishers prize.

Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run

The knee knacker is aptly named, as the course is 30 miles and has an elevation gain of 16,000 feet. Definitely not one for the faint of heart. Donations will be collected by runners and teams to the North Shore Search and Rescue.

Squamish Days 8K

The Squamish Days 8K is the 10th race in the Lifestages Lower Mainland Road Race Series and is a fast, flat route on a paved shoulder that has minimal traffic and is friendly for wheelchair participants. Medals are awarded to the top 3 finishers, and there is also a stroller division available. No walkers, all racers must finish within 80 minutes.

Fat Dog 120 Trail Race

Fat Dog is an ultra race that has been listed as one of the top 9 toughest ultras by Outside Online. There are 3 different start points and routes, with the toughest (the 48 hour 120 mile) having an elevation gain just under that of Everest. Definitely not for beginners, the routes feature stunning views through 3 provincial parks.
