Pemberton Hiking Trails

Located about 3 hours north of Vancouver along the Sea to Sky Highway and nestled between scenic mountains is the town of Pemberton. The Pemberton Valley boasts a much warmer inland climate and the rich soil in the valley is home to several farms.

The trails are much quieter than those closer to Vancouver and the busy tourist town of Whistler. One of the most spectacular hikes in the region is Joffre Lakes, which climbs gradually pass two lower lakes before arriving at a sub-alpine lake fed by the glacier in the background.

Terrain through the Pemberton region varies greatly as some trails are located in the surrounding mountains while others pass quiet lakes or rushing rivers in the valley areas. Pemberton is the perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
