Location: The North Shore/ West Van. The trail starts from the parking lot of Cypress Mtn (Cross country ski parking lot)

This photo was taken over the Thanksgiving long weekend as my husband & I hiked up Hollyburn Mountain. It was our first Fall hike of 2017, and we were taken aback by how absolutely gorgeous the medows look at this time of the year bursting with all those Autumn colours! It was a pleasant surprise for us to realize how beautiful Fall hikes can be! (prior to this, we always considered hiking as a summer activity!). I could not help but stop and take countless photos of the medows and lakes we passed by as we made our way up the trail. Beautiful shades of green, yellow, orange and red made for a great photo opp! The view from the top of the mountain is breath-taking, but it's the beautiful colours you experience along the trail that make this hike a must-do activity during Fall!
It was the perfect hike during the Thanksgiving long weekend! It made us realize how lucky we are to be living in Beautiful British Columbia that has so much to offer all year round! We are so thankful to be able to experience this gem of a province! :)
