Did this in October 2022. Lots of people. Parked near the bottom of the forest road. It took about two hours to lake, then a bit more to walk around to view point on other side of lake. The rock slide section was the hardest bit. You walk up while water is flowing down the trail. The rest is a gradual uphill through forest. You can hear the wildlife. October is nice time to see the fall colours, lots of reds and yellows. Allow at leat 6 hours to enjoy it. 4 hours hiking and 2 hours lounging around the lake.

On the single track but before the fork to WTH/Rohr don't miss the rock arrow that sends you left over a creek/fallen tree. It looks like you could go straight - you can but it won't get you where you want to be going!
