Completed this hike yesterday. Came across a black bear less than 5 minutes in to the trail, so be prepared for a possible encounter. It's a great hike, but the instructions are true re: lack of signage, resulting in confusion at junctions. Some tricky terrain in places (scrambling up rock and steep descent on loose dirt), but the views are gorgeous!
