View Lightning Lake Loop Description | Add Comment

Daniel Stewart from Burnaby writes:

My family visited Manning every summer for a week and this was always an essential part of our stay. It's a great hike for a family, even a young one, with little elevation gain and lots of interesting moments (bridges, creeks, views of the lake). It helps that it is connected to the Lightning Lake campsite too, so easy to access if that's where you're staying.

Also if time/energy is limited, I highly recommend doing half the loop, focussing on the southern (quieter) end of the lake. In my mind this area is more rewarding.
