A great little hike that way exceeded my expectations. Steep but with a great trail, thoroughly rewarding with more waterfalls and cascades than you can count. Not much snow (8 Dec 2021) but quite icy on the upper sections - microspikes essential.

Note that the trailhead has moved and is now about 0.6 km south at the beginning of the Spetch Creek FSR. There's a new signboard and outhouse, and plenty of parking.

Nice quick hike - a little bit slippery due to dusty trail in places. Some great views of the waterfalls and the surrounding area.

Great little hike. I always wondered what that sign was next to the road and finally stopped and followed the trail. Best views of the waterfalls are when you come back down the other side of the creek. The hike is short but worth it.
