Shoreline Trail in Port Moody Boardwalks
After 2 years of replacing and building boardwalks along Port Moody’s Shoreline Trail, the route has re-opened and once again connects Rocky Point Park to Old Orchard Park.
The boardwalks provide scenic views of Port Moody’s inlet. There are several viewpoints along the route, including a new section with a house post carved by səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation) artists Damian George and his nephew Jonas Jones.
The new boardwalks are wider and level offering improved accessibility and safety while protecting the unique and environmentally sensitive salt marsh and mud flats.
