AdventureSmart Trail Specific Safety Videos

The BC AdventureSmart Team has created 11 Trail Specific Safety Videos that offer in-depth information for hikers to help plan their outdoor adventures safely. Each video was created on a specific trail due to the high number of Search and Rescue incidents that have occurred on that specific trail. The videos offer details from the best time of year to hike the trails, what sorts of terrain to expect on the trail, what challenges you may run into on the trail, and much more.

Whether you are a beginning hiker or a seasoned veteran who is familiar with some of these hiking trails, it’s well worth taking the time to watch these videos before setting out on these trails.

Here are the trail videos that are popular hikes within the Vancouver region.

Black Tusk Trail
Howe Sound Crest Trail (including St. Mark’s Summit)
Stawamus Chief
Eagle Bluffs Trail
Mount Seymour Trail
Golden Ears Trail
Skywalk South Trail
