Although this is a beautiful waterfall, I would suggest bundling up your visit with a short hike at the Rolley Lake and/or the Kanaka Creek instead of making a stand alone trip unless you are already in the neighborhood. Or maybe once the floating bridge at the Hayward Lake is re-installed, you can then hike around the lake and see the Steelhead Falls.

Big Problem By Local Authorities:
When you move towards this fall, you will not find it, Yesterday (on 10th July 2021) I visited with my friends and family, On trail there is no sign post for this fall.
When you will be on trail and tired, your focus will be on fall and surroundings, but fall is on other side of trail, you have to take a sharp cut right side, without any sign post, go downward, pathway is unmanaged, only recommended for healthy person, trail is not managed or cleaned, stair steps were not cleaned, lot of slippery, so just watch, and then you will see a very small space to see a very beautiful fall.
