      Drive by it most days to get to work and thought I should check it out one of these days. So I took my 2 and a half year old boy for a hike. Nice and easy hike with good veiws.

        We also turned back after being swarmed (literally SWARMED) by mosquitos in June 2012. Do not attempt without long sleeves and a lot of bug spray!

          Oh BOY! We were going to bike around Shadow Lake but turned back after 10 minutes of being constantly bombarded by mosquito's. Holy Eaten Alive Batman. Next time, we'll skip it or bring a bug proof suit with a gallon of bug spray.
