Fun to do this hike along others as the other comments mentioned. We wanted a short, easy hike so did Dam + LIttle Goat using the Ridge Trail, then looped back using the Alpine trail. Did it on Sept 22, so very few bugs. Will be buggy earlier in the summer.

Beautiful views.

    I didn't even know Little Goat was a mountain when I did it on route to Crown Mountain. It provides a very nice spot to stop and have lunch and provides a nice view of Crown Mountain. It's nice for those who are not looking for anything to strenuous but would still like a trip into the backcountry.
