Hiked this on June 16th 2020. Trail was very beautiful, but is steep. It was short lived though as it took us about 1 hour to get to the top, 40 mins to come back down. Stunning view, the hike should be way more popular than it is. We drove about 2 hours from Vancouver and it was well worth it. Nice sitting area at the top, would highly recommend this hike.

This hike was 55 minutes from where we live in Abbotsford. We really enjoyed "Hope's grouse grind" and we would love to come back again. The hike was steep but well worth it! We got a great work out in and the trail wasn't crowded. We began the hike at 10:30am - it took us an hour to go up and about 40 minutes to go down. We saw about 3 groups when we were hiking up and 2 groups plus some solo hikers with their dogs going down. Highly recommend this hike!

Great workout and well worth it for the views. We took just over an hour going up an roughly 35 minutes on the decent. We were informed by a local that despite the sign warning of bears and cougars that we had nothing to worry about. Minimal bugs until the top but that was due to being sweaty and shirtless. Being asthmatic I struggled initially with the steepness of the climb but was able to adjust to the elevation quickly. Highly recommend this trail!

A really good workout! Stairs and steep sections but there’s little rest areas along the way. The view at the top is worth the hike up!

Steep hike, not for beginners. View from the top is amazing. The trail gains around 500 meters in just 2.5km.
