GORGEOUS views during the entire hike, would do again. However, as a very active and healthy person I wouldn't say this is an "easy" hike and that the elevation is "minimal". I'd say this hike has a difficulty of medium with medium elevation. The hike gets increasingly steep upwards as you go along the boulders and you have to come back down later.

This is one of my favourite trails on the Sunshine Coast, mostly because of the waterfront views and the stunning old growth arbutus grove at the end of the hike. The moss and lichen vegetation that grows on the rocks is quite ecologically sensitive, so it's important people stay on the trail, even though the carpets of moss look so inviting to walk on! I do agree that while this hike is easy, I took my elder parents here, and my mom did not feel comfortable clambering up and down the boulders. It is not a flat walk but really requires you to have exceptional agility and balance to safely explore this. If you're young fit, great! But if you have mobility issues or are a little unstable on uneven terrain, this trail can be challenging and perhaps not appropriate.
