Description:
This was my first time hiking in the Kootenays, and it did not disappoint. The stunning peaceful trail had endless beautiful views. The best part for me was seeing the joy on my 9 and 11 year olds faces at every turn in this trail. We do lots of hikes together around Vancouver but this was their first time on a hike such as this. I loved watching their joy at the wildflowers, views, and color of the lake.
