Mount Seymour (Pump Peak)

Every year on my birthday I try to see the sunrise . This year I decided to take it a bit further and watch the sunrise from the first peak of Mount Seymour. So, me and my buddy set off for North Van at 2 am to begin our hike. We made our way up with our headlamps making good progress until we were just before pump peak, but since it was early in the season and early in the morning the snow was very icy and slippery. We tried to make our way up to first peak but the sun was already beginning to peak over the horizon so we opted to just go up to one of the many gorgeous view points and I captured this photo of the sky changing colours as the sun rose at 5:30 am.
