As a new immigrant to BC, I was awe-stricken by the natural beauty of the rice lake situated in Northern Vancouver. Beautiful lakes guarded by mountains are common in my native place, Kerala in South India though the flora is more tropical there. Natural beauty has the same definition halfway around the globe!
