It seems the trail is closed, there is no way to get a day pass, if you try at 7:00 AM it’s always full for the coming days.

there is no way to book the ticket, it’s always not available. I think tourist companies are are taking them the minute when tickets are open . I have waited all summer the tickets never available. Someone have to change it!

Excuse me, May I have a question?
The closure period of Joffre Lakes is being written from September 3 to October 3 in some websites but is being written from September 3 to October 6 in other sites. Which of these is correct? Please answer to this question.

As a visitor to Canada no chance of getting a day pass to Joffre Lake. A nano second after passes becoming available to non available means they are being sucked up by AI, tour operators or the website is not functioning as it is meant to. BC parks should monitor who are ‘stealing’ all the allocated tickets.
    From disappointed tourist….

While I agree with day pass, I believe 500 is too much. I have been at the lakes a few times and what catches my attention is how people are unprepared and uneducated to be in such environment.
Start with education and reduce that number to 200-250.
Thanks for allowing us to be in your land.
