Can I hike year-round near Vancouver?

Yes, but the accessible trail list shifts dramatically by season. Low-elevation forest and coastal walks (Lighthouse Park, Pacific Spirit, Lynn Canyon, Quarry Rock) are generally snow-free year-round. Mid and high-elevation trails (Cypress, Seymour, Black Tusk, Panorama Ridge, The Lions) typically carry snow from roughly November through June or July, and are not recommended winter hikes due to the risk of avalanche and severe winter conditions.
