Dry Ridge Trail
Location: A 1.5-mile out-and-back trail near Manning Park.

After spending the day exploring the area, we finished at Dry Ridge Trail where we set up camp for the night and stargazed. Thankfully for us we got to see the Northern Lights and space weather phenomenon, STEVE (Strong, Thermal, Emission, Velocity, Enhancement). Unlike the Northern Lights, this is made of hot gases and is a tad more rare to see. I was incredibly lucky to capture the band of our Milky Way galaxy with STEVE which created this surreal, helix-like structure over Manning Park Resort.
