After exploring the Coquihalla Summit Recreation Area, I found that Yak Peak is perfect for shooting Needle Peak. So I then started planning to hike the Yak Peak and found that it's possible to put the milkyway and Needle Peak in the same frame. I changed my mind and started planning a camping on Yak Peak. After all the hiking and scrambling with a heavy load to the top, everything is worth it with the exposed and gorgeous view. Takes me more than an hour to stay up on the exposed windy summit just so that I can capture all the details from the sky to Needle Peak and the highway and lucky it turns out the way I intended, except for the light pollution.
