My youngest had the chief on his bucket list and I hadn’t been in over 20years. As we drove closer we saw the cloud coverage and debated going. Since coming from the city, we thoughts we should since weather can change rapidly. We sat atop 1st peak for sometime and it just stayed clouded over .. it’s not always a viewpoint that makes hiking great. Sometimes it’s the moments of why you did it and who you did it with.
