Pierce Lake Trail
Location: Just off Chilliwack Lake road, Pierce Lake trail is a route that takes to up Mount MacFarlane (should you choose to summit it).

This photo is of the Upper Pierce Lake, one of two lakes on Pierce Lake Trail. The peak for Mount MacFarlane is just outside the view of the camera on the left. The lake made a perfect reflection of the mountain's glacier, I couldn't believe how blue and still the lake was. Although this image was taken in 2020, this perfect reflection can be witnessed in early August, end of July the upper lake is still frozen and later in August the snow has melted a lot more from the rocks, this was a theory I tested with weekly hikes this summer. I took this photo the first time I hiked this mountain (the first year I lived in BC), and it's my absolute favourite trail, but makes for a very long and tiring day.
