Lake Lovely Water

A well deserved refreshing (and ice cold) dip after an arduous climb up to Lake Lovely Water.
We hiked with a canoe to Squamish River, then paddled up river to beach and start the trail. We were challenged with steep terrain, humidity and damn, a swarm of relentless mosquitoes and flies.
If you manage to make it without being stung by wasps, you deserve a medal!
That being said, it was all worth it for the jaw dropping views at the top. Most people choose to helicopter up there. While I’m sure that’s a nice ride up.. you won’t feel the same satisfaction as you will do hiking.
