Hanging Lake
Location: Above Whistler Olympic Park is an easily accessed lake which leads to Gin Peak and Rainbow Mountain. Usually done in the winter as a snowshoe or ski tour.

Description:
The clouds were finally lifting in the afternoon, after a very foggy morning, and we were headed for a final descent from the ridgeline you can see.
The beautiful ski tracks visible speak for themselves as to the powder that we had that day. The lake at the foreground is completely unspoiled snow (until we crossed it right after this).
