On the coldest day of the year I met up with some friends to hike up Flora Peak. The trip was plagued with bad luck (a runaway dog, a lost phone, and a broken snowshoe), but there’s no doubt I would do it all over again. It was the most stunningly beautiful winter wonderland I’ve ever seen.
