Me trying by best to give the mountains a big hug! Rather than doing a backpacking circuit, my friends and I did Black Tusk, Panorama Ridge, and Garibaldi Lake in a single day. We hiked approximately 37k from 9:30am-1:00am. We had to use headlamps for several hours coming back, but that sunset at Panorama Ridge made it totally worth it. The photo makes me smile, but fails to capture just how vast and humbling that view is. The memories make it even better.
