It is an indescribable experience to be lost in the wild, surrounded by miles of untouched nature all around, in a world that has been and continues to be exploited.
I imagine us from above, sitting alone in this green valley, among the looming peaks, with nothing but the marmots, plants and this lake for company.
For a moment, I close my eyes and imagine that this is all there is — the world as it once was. No cities, no vehicles, no deforestation, no fracking, no oil spills, no plastic pollution.
Nothing but the stillness of this valley and the seemingly infinite vastness.
