M Gurr Mountain offers stunning views over both the ocean and surrounding lakes, peaks and glaciers. The day that we hiked up the clouds were burning off from the valley floors, finally opening up the view. It was definitely already the end of summer in early September, with the blueberries and huckleberries ripe and the mushrooms already sprouting up.
