An iceberg chunk breaks off of Berg Glacier during BC’s summer 2021 heat wave. The sweltering heat allows me to wade in the alpine Berg Lake and make several attempts to climb the slippery ice. Behind me you can see the deep grooves of the glacier on the majestic Mount Robson.
