I woke up at 6am on my first day in Revelstoke (and first day of my first ever solo road trip) and embarked on this 15km round trip hike. I spent the day in the breathtaking backcountry of Revelstoke nearly alone except for a run in with a friendly porcupine and a few other happy hikers on my way down. It ended up being a very spiritual experience for me, and I was happy to have my timer option on my phone to capture the bliss
