The sun peaked out but the smoke from the US forest fires was making its way in. This was a spur of the moment hike that did not disappoint! The various terrain and intensities made for an eventful and interesting hike! The views overlooking the lake and city below were beautiful, even with the lingering wildfire smoke. The smoke really puts an emphasis on how important it is to be careful and take care of our planet.
