After a long night of wind, rain, and rough sleep the rain finally let up as night slowly turned to day. I got up expecting to still be completely shrouded in fog like the night before but was pleasantly surprised by crisp views and and this hot pink sunrise starting up on Needle Peak. In this photo Andrew Scherle is just getting his first glimpse of the sunrise magic.
