Needle Peak
Location: Coquihalla Summit Recreation Area. Needle Peak Trail is a 8.5 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Hope, British Columbia, Canada that features a great forest setting and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and snowshoeing and is accessible year-round.

Description:
Needle Peak is a granitic summit near Coquihalla Pass on Highway 5. Generally, routes are much easier than the name suggests, as Needle is not that inaccessible. The rock is somewhat granular and crumbly in places, but the peak boasts good scrambles along the ridges, and a more technical climb or two. Needle peak has a great view of the mountains and not to busy. This picture was taken on a cloudy day that felt like I am floating in the clouds and one with nature.
