We drove from Vancouver to Tofino earlier this summer. We got stuck in a bunch of traffic along the way and i was getting concerned because i wanted to make it to this trail and complete the hike just before sunset. i wanted to watch the sunset over Tofino from a perspective i've wanted to see for ages. We got lucky. our timing was perfect. Once we got to the top of the hill the light was amazing. we stuck around until the sun set. it was an amazing sight. the water was blue, but the mist from the waves was almost a golden colour from the sun hitting it. An unforgettable sunset and a great first impression of this legendary town.
