In the off-season the campsites are closed and the access road is gated at Chilliwack Provincial Park. I arrived at 2am and hiked down the frozen, icy trail to the lakeshore in the pitch black to do some early Spring stargazing. I stared up at the sky until the sun rose and the stars gave way to day.
