Description:
We started our hike to St Mark's Summit at 5:00AM to watch the sunrise and make breakfast. We were crunched for time and scared we were going to miss it, because this was the first time any of us hiked in the dark. Luckily we made it 30 minutes before sunrise, which gave us enough time to have breakfast ready before it happened. It was cold, but the breakfast and fresh coffee kept us warm until the entire mountain was in the light. Could not imagine a better start to the day!
