The views along the Panorama Ridge trail are beautiful from the first step and totally worth the gruelling 30km hike. We'd just spotted a beautiful black bear munching on berries in Taylor Meadows before beginning the ascent to the Garibaldi Lake viewpoint. Who can begrudge 1600m of ascent when this is the view?
