Location: Marriot Basin, near Duffey Lake. The trail climbs up through the Marriot Basin, past the Wendy Thompson hut and up through the next valley to Marriot Peak.

I love that this photo is so simple, and still tells such a powerful story. We spend our weekends hiking to get out and high above the city streets. The silhouette of a man (Radek) proudly conquers another peak; the layers of ridges and valleys behind him remind us how far he has come. If you ever needed reminding...this is why we go outdoors.
