Location: Golden Ears Provincial Park. Trail head begins at the Golden Ears West Canyon trail before veering off. Takes about 2.5hrs up and 2hrs down

For me I like to go hiking to escape all the distractions of living in the city and visiting Golden Ears Park on a weekday was just that. I didn’t pass a single other person on the 5hr round trip to the top of Evans Peak. When you get to the top there is an amazing vista of the lake below, Mt Baker, and other peaks out in the distance. Truly a great choice to get out in nature and less than an hours drive from downtown Vancouver.
