I never thought I would do this hike this summer as the 22km round trip route sounds quite daunting but I was pleasantly surprised by how consistently flat the steady incline was. The panoramic views along the way and at the destination, the upper and lower Elfin Lakes, literally took my breath away and I had to recover with some concentrated yoga breathing.
