Tricouni East
Location: As far as I know, the alpine lake in the picture does not have a name. To get there, we drove about 10km on the Chance Creek FSR between Squamish and Whistler BC, and then hiked 4.5km (each way). The trail is described in the new Squamish Hiking book, by Marc Bourdon (hike #72, on page 270).

A friend and I wanted to try out his new inflatable Stand-Up Paddleboard in the backcountry, so we hiked up to this beautiful alpine lake, timing our trip so that the lake would still be partially covered in snow and ice. Whilst he paddled, my job was to find the best angle from which to take this photo, and I hope I did!
