This photo (shot on iPhone 6s) shows the 'best seat in the house!' atop The Chief (first peak).
My husband took this picture of me as I sat there taking in the amazing views that you get rewarded with after all the hard work you put in to get to the top! It was a challenging hike for me, but totally worth every step. I just sat there in silence (luckily it wasn't busy at that hour) thinking about how fortunate we are to live so close to (and experience) the beauty of such magnanimous mountains!
