I took this photo because I really loved the framing created by the surrounding trees. The foreground was dark, but as you look into the distance in the background, you see a glimpse of light where the peaceful waterfall is. I composed and shot this photo because I felt a very mystic and eerie vibe which allowed viewers to be drawn into the waterfall in the middle. I especially adore the colour tones in the image as it gives off a mysterious, yet warm feeling.
