Elfin lakes are one of the most iconic and famous hikes around Vancouver, un must do.
During the winter, I joined a group of hikers for a two-day journey and a night in the shelter! I dreamt about that and I made it! What a epic trip: heavy backpack (almost killed me), snowshoes (certainly my third time) and amazing scenery and a perfect weather for the way to go! Wonderful! I took several pictures during the trip and this picture represents my feeling the best over there: blue sky, huge white cotton clouds, fresh untouched snow everywhere, wonderful trees, surrounded by peak and chain of mountains and the tiniest shelter! What a wonderland! That was promising at first and it deserve its popularity! This picture show the rangers shelter and under the snow, hidden, one of the elfin lakes.
