Being one of the most demanding hikes I've ever done, the image of this surreal looking scene that was presented to me after the final ascend is still a very vivid memory. The beautiful contrast of the white glacier and the dark exposed rocks, the turquoise color of the partially melted Wedgemount Lake, and the vibrant color of the greens made all the hard work worthwhile.
