After moving to BC last year, my girlfriend Tara and I finally got a chance to hike the beautiful Joffre Lakes trail this summer. After four hours of hiking and exploring this stunning area on a hot summer's day in the middle of August, we decided to cool off in the emerald green, glacial-fed waters of Middle Joffre Lake. I snapped this picture of Tara jumping off the famous floating log into the cool, refreshing water.
