Joffre Lakes campground is usually completely packed on summer weekends. However, sometimes you may "luck out" thanks to the rain. It was raining on and off as we hiked to the campground, and fortunately for us it stopped when we set up camp. However, as soon as we tied our last piece of rope for the tarp, it started to downpour. It made for a nice misty morning view from the tent.
