Golden Ears
Location: A few minutes from the Alouette day area, the beginning of the trail is located at the West Canyon Trail. Picture is located at the 10.5 km mark right in front of the emergency shelter offered at the camp base. Looking towards the eastern mountain ranges.

This photo was taken in the early morning around 6:30 am, after we had camped at the camp base by the emergency shelter, located at the 10.5 km point. This photo was very rewarding as this was the first sunrise I have ever seen; and it made the whole hike worthwhile. It was a chilly morning and as a result we had to throw many layers and jackets on. These types of photos remind myself the payoff of hiking and why I would do it all over again. Taken with my Canon Rebel XS.
